\r\nSerkan Filter Company<\/b> started its production in 1968 (1347 in the Persian calendar). The origin and foundation of this activity came from the idea and determination of Houshang Cheraghi. A man with experience working in workshops and technical centers, he decided to turn his dreams into reality and fulfill them by establishing a factory. \r\n\r\nThe product name was derived from a combination of his birthplace and the type of product: birthplace \u201cSerkan\u201d + product \u201cFilter\u201d = brand and company name: \u201cSerkan Filter.\u201d \r\n\r\n\r\nThe brand and company name both indicated the manufactured product and the founder\u2019s love for his hometown. The product consisted of manufacturing various automobile filters. The starting point of the activity was producing air and oil filters for the most common cars. Gradually, the variety of products and vehicles increased. \r\n\r\n\r\nThe first decade<\/strong>: The range of production expanded. In addition to filters for passenger cars of the day (Peykan, Buick, Aria, Peugeot, etc.), filters for medium and heavy vehicles were added (Khavar, Magirus, Leyland, etc.). \r\n\r\nAll these filters were manufactured and assembled in the city of Serkan, where the company\u2019s founder was born and spent his childhood. A city located on the southern slopes of the Alvand mountains. His attachment to Serkan was the reason why it became the second part of the brand: \u201cSerkan Filter.\u201d \r\n\r\n\r\nAfter the 1970s and early 1980s<\/strong>, production activities intensified and expanded. The land and facilities in Serkan were no longer sufficient for the volume and diversity of production. Therefore, a new and much larger facility was established and equipped on the Tuyserkan\u2013Kermanshah road. In this new location, both the variety of products and their applications grew significantly. \r\n\r\n\r\nIn the 1980s<\/strong>, the factory produced all types of filters such as air, oil, fuel, diesel, and hydraulic filters. Applications expanded to include passenger cars, light trucks, heavy trucks, and some construction machinery. Expansion was not only in product diversity but also in production lines and processes. These gradually modernized and adapted to contemporary technologies. New machinery, updated process designs, and a sales network across Iran were among the key developments. \r\n\r\n\r\nIn the 1990s and 2000s<\/strong>, Serkan Filter became one of the top filter brands in Iran, eventually reaching the number one position in subsequent decades. During this period, the company expanded its sales and distribution across every corner of Iran. Authorized distributors took on the sales of Serkan Filter nationwide. By this decade, Serkan filters covered almost all domestic light vehicles and an important part of heavy vehicles\u2014meeting global quality standards. \r\n

<\/div>\r\n\r\nIn the 2010s<\/strong>, increasing market demand, the entry of modern European, Japanese, and Korean cars in large volumes, and the production of advanced European trucks such as Volvo (FH series), Mercedes-Benz (Atego, Axor, Actros), and Iveco (EuroTrakker) motivated Serkan Filter to: \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n1- Design and implement a long-term plan for production and processes. As part of this, three specialized production centers were established in Tehran: \r\n

  • Dedicated production of filters for heavy machinery and construction equipment<\/li>\r\n \t
  • Production of fuel and oil filters with new geometries and materials for modern imported vehicles<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nAll of these missions were accomplished through three large production sites in Tehran. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n2- Equip production processes with the latest technologies, both in systems and machinery. The company purchased and, in some cases, designed state-of-the-art testing, laboratory, and production equipment. This positioned Serkan Filter among the world\u2019s reputable filter manufacturers. \r\n\r\nFrom a systems perspective, the company implemented various quality management systems based on standards such as ISO 9001, TS 16949, and IATF 16949\u2014standards widely adopted by major global automakers and filter manufacturers. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n3- Add to the product portfolio those filters not yet included: ECO filters, polymeric cartridge filters, multi-component filters, nano-based filters, and more. These were designed, manufactured, and launched in the new production sites. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n4- Since the 2010s, Serkan Filter\u2019s mission and goals have been based on: \r\n

    • Expanding to regional markets (Persian Gulf, CIS region) and entering global markets<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Aligning with global filter industry standards in processes, distribution, sales, and brand reputation<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Full entry into global markets for mining machinery, marine engines and ships, industrial filters, and filters for healthcare and medical applications<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n(Currently, the range of applications for Serkan filters includes cars, trucks, agricultural machinery, mining machinery, marine engines and ships, construction equipment, forestry machinery, and specialized cold-region machinery\u2014covering 135,811<\/strong> applications.) \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n5- Preserving more than half a century of reputation and goodwill by employing experienced specialists, utilizing modern production technology, and keeping up with the latest technical, engineering, and informational achievements. \r\n\r\nThe leadership and execution of these strategies and goals have been taken on by Mr. Mohammad Cheraghi, who has successfully elevated Serkan Filter from a large and successful manufacturing company into Serkan Industrial Group.
